Superlative Degree:

The superlative degree is used when something is compared with the rest of the things of the same kind. It is formed in Brokskat by adding dyo ‘than’ to c.ok ‘all’ as in Hindi.

homo putu c.okdyo tâa:lola ‘this picture is more beautiful than all (pictures), i.e., this picture is the most beautiful picture’

Sometimes the superlative degree of comparison is expressed by repeating the adjective with dyo between them. In Hindi also the superlative degree is expressed sometimes in this way.

VERB

Verbs are inflected for tense and mood except in the past tense. The verb forms in Brokskat may be divided into finite and non-finite. The finite form of the verb is the predicate of the main clause is inflected for the person-number of the subject. The non-finite form of the verb is the predicate of the subordinate clause and is not inflected for the person-number of the subject.
