The negative refers to the negation of an action which has reference to all the three tenses,.

The negative suffixes are -w and -o: which are conditioned morphologically. While -w occurs before second personal pronominal endings, -o: occurs before first and third personal pronominal endings.

The negative verb il added to the past adverbial form of the verb indicates the past negative which is inflected for all persons, number and gender.
