1. One husband and wife living in a village. 2. They had two daughters. 3. Their mother died. 4. The daughters were crying. 5. Their father married another woman. 6. She gave birth to a male child. 7. He was blind. 8. The two girls had a buffalo. 9. They grew by drinking the milk of the buffalo. 10. One day their step mother got head ache. 11. She told her husband that “ I will be relieved from my head ache only if you come and kill the buffalo”. 12. He killed the buffalo and whily burying it, the king’s minister came by that side in search of drinking water. 13. At that time he saw the tears of these girls on the mat. 14. The minister drank that water. 15. After drinking he asked “whose tears was it?”. 16. The girls told that “it was ours”. 17. The minister enquired the reason for their agony. 18 They explained to the minister the reason. 19. While explaining their misery, the minister gave them one seed. 20. And asked them to plant the seed on the place where the buffalo was buried. 21. They obeyed the adive of the minister and immediately one plant grew in that place and gave fruit. 22. The two girls ate the fruits and spent the rest of their lives.
