Negative of this class is restricted to nonpast only and it always takes number and gender suffix. Negative3 is denoted by the marker -ma- and it is always followed by the pronominal termination and preceded by the infinitive marker -a or -a:kku (4.8)

4.8 Infinitive
The two infinitive markers present in Urali are -a and -a:kku. These two infinitive markers are in free variation. Infinitive marker -a gives the meaning ‘to’ whereas -a:kku gives the meaning ‘in order to’. The infinitive marker always occurs after the link morph.
