3.8.5. Ablative Case |
-iruddu, -liruddu and -iliruddu are the three ablative case markers used in Urali. Ablative case markers in Urali are complex in nature. They are the combination of any one of the locative case suffixes -i, -li or -ili and also the verbal participle form of the verb -iru ‘to be’ (-irudd). |
It is noticed that the sociative case suffix -o:ukku precedes the ablative suffix -iruddu when the subject is either a pronoun or a personal noun. |
