3.7. Inflectional Increment |
In certain nouns of Urali, the nominative form is different from that of the oblique base which takes the case suffixes and it is called the inflectional base. Inflectional increments are those suffixes which help in forming the inflectional base. Following are the inflectional increments noticed in Urali. |

3.7.1. -tt- occurs as an infix after the nouns ending in vowel -a while taking the case suffixes such as -i (Loc.) -iruddu (Abl.), -e (Acc.), -i (Inst.) and -o:·e (Soc.). Also, it occurs with the proper nouns while taking the locative case suffix -i. |
