Modals

      Modals express the attitude, intention, ability etc. of the speaker. The following are the modals found in Purki language. µen expresses the meaning of ‘capable’ and rgos and rgosuk express the meaning of ‘obligation’. The future tense suffix ča:in occurs with the modal verb µen only. No tense suffix occurs with other modal verbs.
