Non-Finite Verbs

3.2.2.5.1.

Infinitive

The infinitives are defined as the forms that cannot be declined for tense, number, person and gender9. In Purki, the verbs end in -ba, -ma, -pa etc. The tense suffixes especially are added to verb roots i.e., whenever these -suffixes are added, the verb endings like -ba -ma, etc. are dropped. However the present tense suffix -t is added to the verb stems directly.
