/r/ It is a voiced unaspirated alveolar trill. It does not have any positional variant other than [r] itself. It occurs initially, medially and finally in a word.

/w/ It is a voiced bilabial semivowel or frictionless continuant. It has an intermediate status between vowel and consonant. When this sound is produced tongue height is little higher than the height for the corresponding vowel and little lower than the height for the corresponding fricative. It occurs initially and medially in a word.
