/k/ It is a voiceless unaspirated velar stop. It has positional variants [k>] which can be described as voiceless unaspirated unreleased velar stop. It occurs only in the final position of a word, and [g] which can be described as voiced unaspirated velar stop. It occurs medially between two vowels, [k] occurs elsewhere.

It occurs medially before the consonant [r]
