Comparative :
  khima phrl]n sph-k
kohima phiro than bigger
kohima (is) bigger than phiro

 
Superlative :
  Calcutta tóplò yánts sphv-cv-c
Calcutta all-in city biggest
Calcutta (is) the biggest of all cities.

2. mohan kyáklì nhórì nchà
mohan clever boy a
Mohan (is) a clever boy

 
Comparative :
  Mohan suresln káklì-k
Mohan suresh-than cleverer
Mohan (is) cleverer than suresh

 
Superlative
  Mhan tópyolo kyák lì-cv-c
Mohan (is) cleverest among all

 
4.1. Verb : Definition and General Remarks :
  Verb can be defined on the basis of certain suffixes with which it occurs. On this basis a verb can be defined in Lotha as a stem capable of taking tense/aspect/mood markers.

  In Lotha, verb is not marked for gender and number.

Examples
1. mp-n     sálò   r-là He comes here
    he-nom here  come-present
2. np-n    sálò  r-là She comes here
   she-nom here  come-present
3. nt-n    sálò   r-là They come here
   they-nom here come-present
4. -n   lán   slónà   r-chò
   I-nom road  this by  come-past
   I come by this road
Verb is also not marked for person.

Examples
1. -n óts ts-là I eat rice
    I-nom rice eat-present
2. -n   ótsì   ts-là
we-nom rice   eat-present We eat rice
