An orphan and his calf

An orphan had a cow. One day the cow gave birth to a good calf. One day the calf went near the king’s ploughing bull and smelled it. On seeing this smelling and licking of the calf the king said "My bull has given birth to a calf." The orphan boy said "king! this is my calf". The king did not agree. The orphan and the king had a dispute. All the peole said that the calf belonged to the king.

The orphan boy said "I will bring a mediator", and he wandered in search of an intercessor. At that time, a forx, on seeing him "Hey! where are you going?" The orphan said, "As the calf of my cow went to smell the king’s bull the king says "My bull has given birth to a calf", and is refusing to give me back my calf.’ I am searching a mediator for that. Then the fox said "you go. I will settle the dispute."

The orphan went back to the king’s mediators. They asked the boy "who is your mediator?" The boy said "Please wait for a moment, he is coming." The king’s mediators waited from the morning till evening. The fox came later to the mediators.

The mediators asked the fox "what were you doing all this time. The fox said "The milky ocean has dried up. I was cataching and eating the fish there. The king’s mediators said "Will the milkey occean dry up at any time in your father’s days?" The fox said "Is it possible for a bull to give birth to a calf at any time in your father’s days?" Then the mediators realized the truth and gave the calf to the orphan.
