3.1.1.3. These four adjectives combine with different nouns and adverbs to give rise to several other pronominal forms. i combines with phuru ‘time’, yaN‘place’, hay ‘quality’ and k ‘this’ and u combines with phuru ‘time’, k  ‘this’, and and a combine with all the remaining forms.

The addition of the three third person pronouns mentioned above to the demonstrative pronouns gives the following derived pronouns. It may be noted that there are co-occurrence restrictions between these pronouns and the demonstrative adjectives. The demonstrative adjectives used in the psychological plane are combined with the human and animate pronouns and the demonstrative adjectives used in the physical plane are combined with the inanimate pronouns.

3.1.1.4. referential Pronouns: The referential pronoun is a nominal form used to substitute the identical noun occurring in the sentence or in the subsequent sentence. It has the same reference as the antecedent noun it substitutes. The third person pronoun is always used in this way. The simple pronouns b,, and k, or the derived pronouns , b,m, and ik, are used in Kokborok as referential pronouns.    
3.1.1.5. Interrogative Pronouns: The interrogative pronoun is bV-which, combining with other nouns other nouns and adverbs mentioned above, gives rise to all the interrogative pronominal forms.
