The indefinite pronouns such as mohayan ‘somewhere’, moyonh ‘somebody’ or one man’, do not occur in the negative sentences but jata ‘anybody’, anywhere’ occurs as seen in the following sentences :

The concept ‘neither........nor’ is expressed by repeating the negative marker before the verbs as in the following sentence:

7. Constructions such as negative adverb are formed by adding the negative marker before the verb as usual; however it follows adverb ias in the following sentences :

Interrogative sentences :

1. There are two kinds of interrogations, viz., Yes - No kind, and wh-kind, which require specific information. The interrogative marker for Yes-No kind of interrogative is
i which alternates with kana. Wh-type of interrogative is formed by adding interrogative pronouns.
