The finite negative forms are further grouped into three groups.
(i) Habitual negative forms
(ii) Non-past negative forms
(iii) Past-negative forms
 
Habitual negative forms
The negatives of this category are formed by suffixing the person—gender and number markers of the past tense to the verb stems.
