5.8   Person, gender and number The verb agrees with the person, number and gender of subject. Accordingly there are different person—gender number markers. The Yerava person—gender and number markers are tabulated below.       Present tense   Future tense   Past tense Firt person singular   -e   -e   -e plural   -o   -o   -o Second person singular   -e   -e   -e pluaral   -iri   -iri   -iri Third person Non-Fem.   (Sg)-o   -u   -a Fem.   (Sg)-ou   -ou   -au Plural.   -oru   -oru   -aru   5.8.1.   First person singular {el} -e -e occurs with all the verbs in all the tenses. kui-kinj-e   ‘I drink’ kui-p-e   ‘I will drink’ kui-c-e   ‘I drunk’   First person plural {-o} -o -o occurs with all the verbs in all the tenses. kui-kinj-o   ‘we drink’ kui-p-o   ‘we will drink’ kui-c-o   ‘we drunk’
