5.6   Tenses
There are separate set of suffixes in Yerava to express past, It and future tenses. However, the present tense is used frequently to indicate the future meaning also. There are four, three and two past, present and future tense suffixes respectively.
 
5.6.1   Past
{-t-} -t-,    -nd-,    -nj-,   -c-
-t-occurs with the verbs taking enunciative -u except the ones ending in -1 and -y. The other exceptions are ir- ‘to be’, be:—’to bake’, no:—’to pain’, nu:—’to push’.

-nd- occurs with verbs endihg in -a and the others listed in class II.
