MORPHOPHONEMICS

In this chapter on morphophonemics, the formula formulated and ordered to illustrate the morphophonemic changes taking place while the morphs are juxtaposed are presented.
The ampersand '&' represents the morpheme boundary and hyphen '-' represents the place of occurrence of the phoneme in question. The asterisk '*' indicates the incomplete form.
The rules are numbered and referred to in the chapters where they operate. In this chapter also the page number is given against each rule to indicate the place of its occurrence.
