The above statement should not, however, be
interpreted that both the adjectives of Quality and the
adjectives of Quantity will not occur together in a noun phrase
construction. In a noun phrase construction, both the adjectives
of Quality and the adjectives of Quantity can occur. Similarly
more than one adjective of Quality can occudr in a noun phrase.

These examples
show that both the adjectives of Quality and the adjectives of
Quantity occur in a noun phrase construction. The order of
occurrence may be shown as
(Demons.) + (adj.Qual.)
+ N + (adj.Quant.)
The occurrence of these adjectives is optional in
a nolun phrase (The category enclosed in a parenthesis occurs
optionally in a noun phrase construction).
It is not necessary to have only one noun in a noun phrase
construction. There are noun phrases where we have two nouns
functioning one as the head and the other as the modifier. The
modifier follows the head noun when both the modifier and head
noun occur in a noun phrase.
