In case of all other nouns plural marker is added to the modifiers or to the noun phrase. Examples Singular Plural 1. ótò tree ótò     cá trees 2. tshó  spear tshó   cá spears 3. s cloth s    cá clothes 4. h tooth h     cá teeth ótòcá means ‘trees’ or ‘that trees’ or ‘those trees’ , same meaning can be given to all other nouns taking c¢áN. Examples of plural with other modifiers are as follows : 1. frò sá this dog    dog this     frò sáá these dogs    dog this-pl. 2. fró mhm good dog     dog  good frò mhm c dog good that -pl.  those good dogs 3. árò c child that that child árò cá child that-pl. those children 4. pnóy mhm  teacher good good teacher pnóy mhm cá  teacher good that-pl. those good teachers When a numeral attribute indicating the number is added to the noun, the plural marker is not added. Examples 1. kákò     book móts one one book 2. káò     book nì two two books 3. kákò     book thm three three books   When a quantifier indicating a group or groups is used with the noun the plural marker is not added.
