From the above chart it becomes clear that in the initial three consonant clusters the third member is only -y.

Examples are as follows -

1. nthy- nthyknr miser

2. ky- kyncì ignorant

 
  Medial two consonant clusters :

 
 
In the medial two consonant clusters following consonants occur as first member.

p, ph, k, kh, m, mh, n, nh, , h, c, ch, v,, l, r, y.

Following consonants occur as the second member.

p, ph, t, th, k, kh, pv, ts, tsh, c, ch, f, v, s, z, s, m, mh, n, , l, r, rh, w, y.

However, all consonants occurring as first member of the cluster do not occur with all consonants of the second group. Combinations of possible consonants occurring as first and second members are given below:

p + k = -pk-
p + kh = -pkh-
p + s = -ps-

k + th = -kth
k + ts = -kts-
k + c = -kc-
k + ch = -kch-
k + f = -kf-
k + v = -kv-
k + s = -ks-
k + = -ksáá-
k + m = -km-
k + r = -kr-
k + w = -kw-

5 Combinations with ‘m’
