3.1.2.2.2. The second type of polymorphemic nouns is formed by adding specific nouns after the generic noun like the adjectives added to the noun. These are all inanimate nouns. But these nouns do not take pronominal prefix. In the examples given below, ha ‘earth or soil’, and yak ‘limb’ are the generic nouns followed by specific nouns.

‘low earth, i.e., ditch
