Demonstrative use :

The third person pronouns /wo/, /y are used as demonstratives in the sense of modifiers to the nouns in a noun phrase as well as independently. A few examples are :

Remote use

wo	gero		‘That	boy’

wo	kUtto		‘That	is	a	dog’

Proximate use

y	dand	‘This	bullock

ye	kòa	‘These	horses’

Interrogative use

Anaphoric use :

Besides third person pronouns also occur anaphoric ally in the language as these are substituted in place of noun phrase or nominal zed sentence in the preceding clause.
