Progressive aspect

Progressive aspect describes an action or event which is in progress. The progressive aspect occurs in all three tenses giving past progressive, present progressive and future progressive. The past progressive is expressed by the markers-lentain-len, -tantaiken and -ken which freely alternate with each other.

Present progressive :
 The present progressive is expressed by the markers - tan, - ja?t, ja?tji, - ji, ja?tji or - ji is used when th eobject is animate; - ja?t, or - tan is used when the object is inanimate.
